Refund still not received after 6 months
Still waiting for my refund from air malta. I paid extra so my party of 6 could sit together, as two were children aged 2 and 5. We did not get the seats we paid for and were split up. We returned from our holiday on the 1st of August 2022. Despite dozens of emails I am still waiting for my refund. Appalling service from an airline that does notcare.

Broken luggage, no reply
Went to a business trip from London to Malta and at the time I collect my luggage I realised that my luggage was broken at the wheel.
send a email at the same day 15/11/22 reporting the accident and they replied a month later on 13/12/22 me requesting me to fill up a form attached, but the email didn't included the form, so I send a new email pointing out the missing file and they only replied me on 18/12/22, I have sent the documents, photos and form completed at the same day and have no replay until today 24/01/23.
AirMalta has gone down the drain
AirMalta has gone down the drain. A bad experience at all stages using this Airline which used to be a good one. Delays in check in (computer system continuously down), business class tickets did not allow for priority boarding or even any advantage in terms of seating (all passengers in business were sat in exactly the same seat configuration so cannot figure out why they con people into buying business class). The boarding was more akin to a free for all mess. If I could give 0 to AirMalta at this stage I would, but trust pilot only allows a minimum of 1 star.
I am still waiting for my compensation…
I am still waiting for my compensation of being denied on my flight the 8th of august. when I emailed them my documents for the compensation I got an answer but nothing on my bankaccount. emailed them 3 times and got no answer back. This is no way to deal with customers. I had to pay a taxi of €100 back in Brussels because there where no trains or poppy's anymore. I really feel cheated.

Reading a lot of complaints involving Air Malta surely all theses passengers cannot be wrong !!!!!.
We could do with someone like Martin Lewis to help all disgruntled passengers.
Yes I can believe there’s no Duty of care with this Company.
Such an eye opener reading the reviews how do they get away with it.

It would appear air Malta have stolen my money. Over two years without a refund. We have sent countless emails, but the company simply say they will chase the accounts department and then nothing. I can’t understand how a company can provide such a poor service.

Booked a flight back in August 2021 unfortunately had to cancel due to covid. I phoned and cancelled and was advised I'd get a refund. Obviously never received anything after multiple emails and over a year of waiting.

I PAID FOR FLIGHTS AND SEATS THEN WAS REMOVED FROM MY SEAT WHEN SOMEONE ELSE PAID AIR MALTA MORE. AS A MATTER OF PRINCIPAL I WANT MY SEAT MONEY REFUNDED. HAVE JUMPED THROUGH HOOPS AS YET NO REFUND AND NO REPLIES TO MY DAILY EMAILS. SHOCKING WAY TO TREAT REGULAR TRAVELLERS!!!!!!

Gross apparently they flew monkeys to lab in our plane to be experimented to Montreal (I'm Canadian) and states. Ontop they weren't even usda approved or went through the bio test.wth amber heard got in so much heat just for 2 dogs. I feel really repulsed this happened to us . I guess that's why so cheap ?

New plane, 1,3 years old 737 Max.
Flight and plane was ok. (Booked via Ryan). Flight on time.
The seats however was the most tight and with the shortest legroom I've ever flown with. If u are under 1,8 meter it works for short flights, otherwise not.

Very well served by Alison Casha …
Very well served by Alison Casha from Air Malta head office. She went out of her way to provide assistance and bring closure to an outstanding refund matter which had been ongoing for over 2.5 years. I hope Air Malta appreciate this precious staff member who gives back confidence in a once esteemed and respected airline. Thank you Alison! It was a pleasure dealing with you!
No response to emails and compensation
Awaiting a response still for our compensation and the cost for another flight due to ours being over 13hrs delayed. We are out of pocket and there have been no communications back for over a month since my last email. This is nearly EUR1,000 due that has not been paid and feels endless in chasing them.
During the delay - communications were really poor and have not improved since.

Refuse to give refund.
Had to contact legal assistance to get refund back, after multiple emails and phonecalls, we recieved nothing but empty promises and "please give us your contact information and we will accelerate the process"
This is just BS, they are stalling with the aim of you as a customer to give up on the refund. If anything goes wrong with this company, you will not get your money back.

Go first tickets is a scam
Go first tickets is a scam. They don't do anything with them. We did it because of the chaos on Schiphol. So we could bring our lugage in the plane 100%. (so the Go first priority says) But they don't do anything with the Go first. It was just 1 line going in the plane. They didn't call out the Go first people first.. which just means they are a scam. Also our suitcases (which we could bring 100% in to the plane with the Go first priority) had to be in the checked bagages. So we had to wait on Schiphol for the lugages to arrive. They are just scamming people with this priority.

2 and a half years to get refunded for…
2 and a half years to get refunded for flights cancelled due to covid 19. I was advised to contact a lady by the name of Alison Casha at airmalta.com who got me my refund withing 4 weeks. Still out of pocket due to the phone calls to malta and recorded letters all of which were ignored but at least Alison was able to help and she has helped others as well good luck everyone and dont give up keep pluging away at it.
